The graphic language of subways and public transport systems tend to be either fantastic or fantastically terrible. London of course come out on top but Massimo Vignelli’s signage for the New York City Subway system is almost as good and perhaps has a little more character. It’s a fantastic subject for a poster and was inspired by the designers work on ‘The Standards Manual’ Kickstarter book project. Looks good to me.
The poster is available in two sizes and will be printed with 11 PANTONE spot colors.
