Profile
I’m a freelance graphic and information designer, working with a variety of clients in the UK and abroad.
I studied Information Design at the London College of Communication (UAL). After graduating I worked in the environmental & energy department at University of the Arts London helping to develop and brand a new sustainable design platform called Meet the Tide. I went on from this position to work as an in-house graphic designer for a major UK children’s charity (Variety, the Children’s Charity). I set up Chris Morley Design in May 2014 to give myself time to work on my own projects and interests.
Whilst at university, I developed a keen interest in sustainability and the environment and now try to include considerations in all aspects of my work. I am especially interested in paper recycling and paper making. This focus has led to some really exciting projects namely working with A.P.E Egypt as a paper maker.
Infographics and information design make up the core of my work and I hope to continue to merge my interests in all things digital with the environment and a human-centred design approach. I have a few experimental micro-sites in the works which I will track on my blog. I am working towards turning Chris Morley Design into a fully-fledged multi disciplinary design studio.
I’m currently taking on new clients so please get in touch for a quote.

How I work
- The more time I put into unpaid speculative work the more I have to charge in order to make up the difference. No spec work means that I can keep my prices down.
- The best design work comes from working closely with a client to ensure that the brief is fully understood by both. With speculative work, this level of understanding just isn’t possible.
I can hand over source files (PSD’s, INDD’s etc.) for an extra cost should you so require them. Rights-transfers need to be arranged.
